Sacred Snuff Crystal Vision Rapé

Choosing a rapé / hapé blend

One of the first questions we ask when someone reaches out is: have you sat with hapay before? The next is what you are hoping to bring to your practice. Those two answers tell us more than a request for the strongest blend.

Start with the relationship

In our conversations over the years, we have returned to intention, setting and familiarity. A blend that feels forceful to one person may feel quite different to another. We approach our descriptions as personal and ceremonial reflections, rather than a fixed scale that predicts everyone's experience.

If you are new, tell us that. If you already have a practice, tell us which blends you know and what you appreciated about them. Perhaps you are drawn to a quieter, meditative sitting; perhaps you are interested in a particular maker's preparation. That gives us a meaningful place to begin.

We have often discussed Crystal Vision and Divine Union with people exploring their first offerings. Crystal Vision has also come up in our conversations about meditation. Ascension has been part of conversations about heart-centered intention. These are examples from our own correspondence, rather than promises of a particular result.

Open each product page and read its full description. Look at the preparation's origin, the plants and other details listed, and the personal story that accompanies it. Similar names do not mean identical preparations.

Ask a specific question

A helpful message might say: “I am new to hapay and interested in a meditative practice,” or “I have worked with these two blends and would like to understand how this one differs.” We can respond to your actual experience rather than guessing from a name.

Browse our rapé / hapé collection, or write to our team with the blends you are considering. We are happy to continue the conversation.
