Handmade serpentine stone and chonta wood blow applicator pipe (tepi).
These are beautifully hand carved from sacred ceremonial chonta wood from Puerto Maldonaldo. In addition, serpentine stone is used for the puma head, which is sourced near the sacred Peruvian site of Machu Picchu.
Three animal totems of the Andean Inca Trilogy are combined together on one tepi pipe, represented by the condor, puma, and snake. The main pipe has a snake intertwined (chonta wood), followed by the head of the puma (serpentine), and then condor head (chonta wood) blows at the end.
